A Humble Christmas Present for Taiwan
As another year wraps up I began to take stock of my accomplishments, disappointments, opportunities had and opportunities lost. All in an attempt to prepare for an even better year. I flew to a private destination for a couple of weeks and focused inwards. I kept thinking back to my travels.
I felt that throughout my global adventures over the last 12 months I created many relationships and friendships with terrific people and that my friends in Taiwan hold a special place in my heart.
Seeing where the global economy is headed, how many crypto and traditional projects met less than honorable ends, people scamming others for a quick profit, toxic political activism taking root where it does not belong all the while seeing the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer made me think. Things can appear rather hopeless if one is not careful.
In reality, the majority of people are simply trying to improve their position in life but there many hurdles preventing that. I began to think about people I met across Taiwan and their backgrounds, their opportunities and difficulties. I realized I can help. A lot of them reminded me of myself when I was starting out.
I started my first consulting business with little more than the desktop my University provided for me and $600 I used for marketing. From there…
